मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के कम्यूनिटी रेडियो नारद 90.4 एफएम द्वारा विश्वविद्यालय के निकटवर्ती ग्राम पंचायत गांधी ग्राम में स्मार्ट संस्था दिल्ली के सहयोग से द टीबी चेलैंज कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम पत्रकारिता एवं जन संचार विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डा. संतोष गौतम के निर्देशन में आयोजित हुआ। जिसमें ग्रामीणों को क्षय रोग के कारण व बचाव के संबंध में जागरुक किया गया।
मंगलायतन आयुर्वेदा कॉलेज एवं रिसर्च सेंटर के डा. शिवांस शर्मा ने ग्रामीणों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि क्षय रोग सिर्फ एक ही प्रकार का नहीं होता, यह कई प्रकार का होती है। लक्षणों की जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि यदि किसी व्यक्ति को तीन सप्ताह से अधिक खांसी हो तो नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में टीबी की जांच अवश्यक कराएं। आरजे वीर प्रताप सिंह ने कहा कि जन जागरुकता से ही हम क्षय रोग को हरा सकते हैं। रेडियो नारद द्वारा जन जागरुकता कार्यक्रम चलाया जा रहा है यह आगे भी जारी रहेगा। इस दौरान ग्रामीणों को रोडियो के माध्यम से टीबी हारेगा देश जीतेगा कार्यक्रम का प्रसारण भी सुनाया गया। ग्रामीणों ने अपने विचार सांझा करते हुए कहा कि यह कार्यक्रम उनके लिए काफी लाभदायक रहा है। वह अपने आस-पास के लोगों को भी क्षय रोग के संबंध में जागरुक करेंगे। कार्यक्रम के अंत में योगेश कौशिक ने सभी का अभार व्यक्त किया। इस अवसर पर अब्दुल कलाम, हरीश उपाध्याय, अर्जुन उपाध्याय, दीपिका यादव, दीपशिखा शर्मा, शिवानी सेठी, खुशबू चौहान आदि का सहयोग रहा।
